Bible researcher and author Brent MacDonald created a private Biblical Archaeology Museum and Research Library in Nashville, Tennessee, which opened in 2018. Appointments are necessary as Brent functions as the museum’s docent, providing a fascinating insight into the items, their significance, and often the stories behind them. Tours depend upon his availability but may be scheduled during the daytime or evenings any day of the week.

The museum includes items that will captivate everyone, from school-age children to teens and adults. Each tour includes opportunities for hands-on interaction with the exhibits and often sensory experiences for tastes and smells. Visitors need not be Christians to appreciate its exhibits, and it is open to individuals irrespective of their religious or denominational backgrounds. Brent encourages respectful discussion, debates, and questions.

The museum can facilitate groups of up to 25 individuals per visit. We strongly recommend smaller sizes for elementary-aged children. Tours have included homeschoolers, church groups, Sunday school classes, archaeological students, private schools, employee and office groups, families, and more. The museum normally has limited seating, so groups requiring seating should be smaller. The museum is not wheelchair accessible and requires descending and ascending a short four-rise stairway.

Brent does not charge for museum tours. As an outreach affiliated with Cottage Cove Urban Ministries, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, he encourages donations to help with its outreaches, including providing free daily programs for at-risk children. Additionally, cash donations are accepted at the museum, and Brent maintains a small selection of books and souvenirs that may be acquired during a visit.
